Jenna Jelinski
Owner/Head Coach

Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, my athletic journey began in the world of artistic gymnastics, trampoline, and tumbling. As a young athlete, I had the privilege of competing at the Saskatchewan Winter Games and at national-level events, experiences that shaped both my discipline and passion for sport. When I entered the University of Regina, I discovered cheerleading—a sport that quickly became a defining part of my life. My time on the university team opened the door to incredible opportunities, including representing Canada on Team Canada at the ICU World Championships in 2012 and 2014. I concluded my competitive career in 2017 as part of one of the first North American teams to compete overseas in China, a milestone that remains one of my proudest achievements.

Her coaching career began early, at just 11 years old, when she started coaching gymnastics. Throughout university, she continued to coach and volunteered with community cheerleading programs, solidifying her belief that coaching would always be part of her life. After moving to Medicine Hat, Jenna coached with Stringerz before founding Ultimate Cheer Fusion (UCF), which she successfully operated for nine years. Following a short break to focus on her teaching career, Jenna realized how deeply connected she is to cheerleading and athlete development. That realization led to the creation of Twisters Elite Athletics.

This past season has been one of the most rewarding of her coaching career. Our athletes earned multiple top placements, and our Elite team received the only Paid Bid to the All Star World Championships awarded in Alberta, a testament to their dedication and the strength of our program. Jenna is currently certified as an Advanced Level 4 coach and remains committed to continuing my education and expanding my credentials as our program grows.

Cheerleading has shaped who she is, as an athlete, a coach, and a leader, and she is grateful for every opportunity to help athletes discover their own potential.
